Where can I use my card?

You can use your card within participating merchants, please check the shopping centre website for a list of participating stores or contact the centre ahead of your visit.

Can I use my card to make purchases online?

Your card can only be used within the shopping centre it was purchased from, not online with the retailers of that centre.

How can I find out my balance?

Check your balance online at this link

Can I use my card to purchase something of a higher value than the amount remaining on my card?

You can use your card as part payment for a higher priced item, just pay the balance via any other method the retailer will accept.

What do you do to minimise the impact of the card on the environment?

We use recycled or recovered waste materials in our cards wherever possible and print an increasing percentage of our cards on BioPVC, recycled uncoated card or other environmentally sustainable options. For more on our environmental commitments visit our website

Can I use more than one card in a transaction?

This depends if the retailer in question accepts multiple cards - most do, but please enquire with the retailer where you are making your purchase.

Can I merge the balance of multiple cards into one card?

Card balances cannot be merged but cards can be used as a payment method in the centre where they were purchased to buy a single gift card to the total value.

Can I topup or add more money to my gift card?

No. The card is only for single use and cannot be reloaded or topped up.

What happens if my card is lost or stolen?

We recommend keeping a note of your card number so that the card can be located and locked to protect your funds. You can then transfer that balance to a new card by contacting the number on this page.

What happens if I want to return an item purchased with my gift card?

Please retain your gift card even when the balance has been spent so that the retailer can process a refund back to your card, subject to the retailer's own returns or refund policy.

How do you protect my data?

EML complies with all relevant legislation around data protection in all jurisdictions where it operates.

Your card is activated at the time of purchase.

Yes, they can use the card as part payment for a higher priced item, and can then pay the balance via any other method you will accept.

Can a customer use more than one card in a transaction?

If you accept multiple cards on your ePOS system, yes they can.

No. The card is only for single use and cannot be reloaded or topped up.

What happens if a customer wants to return an item purchased with a gift card?

We ask customers to retain their gift card but often they do not. In this case, a refund is subject to the retailer's own returns or refund policy.
